Our Work
We have worked with some great builders and contractors on projects both big and small, here are a few key projects where Threadlegs have proven that a small investment in a clever product can save time on install and eliminate the need for costly re-works and engineering design time and fees.
555 Collins Street
Builder: Lendlease
Contractors: APS, CoxGomyl
In close collaboration with the builder and onsite contractors, a significant number of hold down bolts were cast-into the rooftop slab for the BMU tracks, including sections with curved tracks. Despite the challenging installation tolerances, a remarkable achievement was made: every single bolt was cast within the specified tolerance, ensuring a seamless slab pour without any delays. This accomplishment showcases the outstanding precision teams can achieve using Threadlegs.
Footscray Hospital
The team on this huge project were looking for a fast and accurate way to install a large number of cast-in hold down bolts so that the structure programme was not delayed using traditional methods of welding cages to nearby reinforcement onsite. Accurate installation of bolts allowed for immediate installation of plantroom steelwork with no post fixed bolts or rectification works required onsite.
Builder: Multiplex
Contractors: Arc Structural, FORM 700
Northern Hospital
Builder: Lendlease
Contractors: MODSCAPE, Caelli Const.
With over 1600 no. Threadlegs installed, this project proved that installing hold down bolts in slabs with the use of Threadlegs is significantly quicker than previous install techniques. Threadlegs allow hold down bolts to be installed before reinforcement and post tensioning which stripped days out of the top level structure programme for the Northern Hospital Mental Health project team.
